NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – In a wild new interview with New York Magazine, President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani said he is “more of a Jew” than George Soros, slammed the U.S. attorney’s office he used to head as “Trump-deranged” and said “f***” “my legacy.”
In the unplugged interview at the Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side earlier this month, Giuliani drank Bloody Marys while speaking with reporter Olivia Nuzzi. She says he was wearing a suit over a sweater, the fly of his pants was unzipped and at one point he was drooling. He also sang her opera.
He told her his circle is tightening and that he doesn't trust anyone anymore.
He railed against the Southern District of New York, which he used to run in the 80s before becoming mayor. The office has reportedly been investigating Trump, as well as Giuliani’s dealings, in recent months.
“If they’re investigating me, they’re a**holes. They’re absolutely a**holes if they’re investigating me,” he told the magazine.
“If they are, they’re idiots,” he continued. “Then they really are a Trump-deranged bunch of silly New York liberals.”
“If they think I committed a crime, they’re out of their minds,” he said. “I’ve been doing this for 50 years. I know how not to commit crimes. And if they think I’ve lost my integrity, maybe they’ve lost theirs in their insanity over hating Trump with some of the things they did that I never would’ve tolerated when I was U.S. Attorney.”
He said they might be jealous of him "because they’ve never done anything like me since me."
Giuliani also spun conspiracies, saying that liberal billionaire George Soros has been pulling the strings in Ukraine and that he controls former ambassador Marie Yovanovitch.
“He put all four ambassadors there. And he’s employing the FBI agents,” Giuliani said of Soros.
Then Giuliani claimed he was “more of a Jew” than Soros, who survived the Nazi occupation of Hungary.
“Don’t tell me I’m anti-Semitic if I oppose him,” Giuliani said. “Soros is hardly a Jew. I’m more of a Jew than Soros is. I probably know more about — he doesn’t go to church, he doesn’t go to religion — synagogue. He doesn’t belong to a synagogue, he doesn’t support Israel, he’s an enemy of Israel. He’s elected eight anarchist DA’s in the United States. He’s a horrible human being.”
Asked if he’s concerned about his legacy as “America’s mayor” amid all the controversy swirling around him, Giuliani was crystal clear: “My attitude about my legacy is f*** it.”
