TARRYTOWN, N.Y. (AP) -- The planned demolition of the old Tappan Zee Bridge this Saturday has been postponed due to inclement weather.Tappan Zee Constructors said Thursday that heavy winds delayed the necessary prep work in order to take down the bridge's east anchor span with explosive charges.A rescheduled date for the demolition hasn't been announced yet.The new Cuomo bridge replaced the Tappan Zee. The major thoroughfare spans the Hudson River between Tarrytown in Westchester County and Nyack (NY'-ak) in Rockland County.
