
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Local and national leaders are marking the start of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, with holiday greetings.
The two-day celebration begins at sunset Sunday and ends at sunset Tuesday. It marks the beginning of the High Holy Days, a 10-day stretch of reflection and prayer that ends with Yom Kippur on Oct. 8.
