NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Sports Illustrated will feature a model wearing a hijab for the first time in its SI Swimsuit issue.
The Somali-American model, Halima Aden, who spent the first seven years of her life in a refugee camp in northeastern Kenya will wear a hijab and burkini in the photo spread.
"I never really felt represented because I never could flip through a magazine and see a girl who was wearing a hijab." Aden said.
