NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Days after making headlines for announcing her career in porn, Steven Spielberg’s daughter, Mikaela, was arrested and jailed in Nashville, where she lives.
The New York Post reports that the 23-year-old was arrested Saturday on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence.
Police records show she was jailed at the Hill Detention Center around 6:30 a.m.
Someone posted Mikaela’s $1,000 bail, and she is set to be released after a 12-hour “hold,” an official at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office told the Post.
Less than two weeks ago, Mikaela Spielberg revealed in an interview that she stars in her own solo porn videos and that she had applied for a state stripper license.
Describing herself as a “sexual creature,” Mikaela says she told parents Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw about her blossoming career during a Facetime conversation over the weekend. She claims they were "intrigued" but "not upset."
So why is she getting into sex work? "I got really tired of not being able to capitalize on my body and frankly, I got really tired of being told to hate my body," she said. "And I also just got tired of working day to day in a way that wasn't satisfying my soul."
She continued: "I feel like doing this kind of work, I'm able to 'satisfy' other people, but that feels good because it's not in a way that makes me feel violated."
She said she does have her limits though: She won't have sex with another person out of respect for her fiance Chuck Pankow, 47.
She said she hopes that this career will allow her to financially break free from her parents.
"My main hope is just that I get somewhere lucrative enough to where I'm not tied down financially by things," she said. "And then I can really start saying to people there's nothing wrong with me using my body in a way that feels comfortable to support myself."
