Suspect accused of robbing victim in Midtown hospital bathroom sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a robbery that occurred inside a Midtown hospital.

Police say on October 23, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the suspect entered the restroom inside the lobby of Mount Sinai Hospital, located at 1000 10th Avenue. 

Once inside the restroom, officials the individual demanded the 31-year-old male victim's cellphone and money.  He then proceeded to punch the victim on the side of his head and removed his iPhone. 

The victim received care at the hospital for a small laceration to his head.  The individual is described as follows:

Officials say the suspect is 40 to 50-years-old, and 5'11" to 6'0".
