HOLMDEL, N.J. (1010 WINS) – A man has been arrested two years after a violent home invasion at the house of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dina Manzo.

James Mainello, a 51-year-old from Bayonne, was arrested at his home Friday and charged with robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, criminal restraint and unlawful possessions of a weapon, according to police, ABC 7 reported.

Police believe Mainello was one of two masked suspects behind the May 2017 home invasion in which Manzo and her then-fiance David Cantin were beaten, tied up and robbed.

Police have said Manzo was punched and Cantin was hit with a baseball bat before they were both bound by two suspects who stole their cash and jewelry.

One of the suspects reportedly said: "That's what you get for f***ing with a guy from Paterson."

The couple managed to break free and called police. Cantin had a broken nose and Manzo had facial injuries.

Andrew Brettler, the Cantins’ lawyer, told ABC 7 the couple was “so grateful to the New Jersey law enforcement authorities, whose diligent investigation over the last two years culminated in today's arrest.”
