NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to a violent robbery that occurred outside of the victim's Bronx apartment.
On Nov. 10, at approxtimately 1:30 a.m., authorities say the 40-year-old victim was was walking into his building near East 183 Street and Morris Avenue when the suspect approached him from behind, pushed him to the floor and began punching and kicking him.
The suspect forcibly removed the victim's i-phone and house keys from his back pocket before he fled in an unknown direction.
EMS transported the victim to Saint Barnabus Hospital after suffering a laceration to his head as well as bruising to his face.
Officials describe the suspects as man in his 20's, with a dark complexion, 180 pounds, approximately 5'10" tall with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, gray sweat pants and sneakers
