CAMDEN, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A $20,000 reward was offered by authorities on Friday for information leading to the arrests of two gunmen who earlier this week opened fire on a home where two New Jersey police officers and their newborn live.
According to officials, the Camden County officers were inside their home with their 10-day-old infant when six bullets struck it on Tuesday night.
Some of the bullets penetrated the home, but the family was on the second floor and no one was hurt.
"I do know that this was a targeted attack against this residence and the officers inside," Police Chief Joseph Wysocki said, adding that the attack will not be tolerated.
On Thursday, officials located a minivan they believe was involved in the shooting.
The officers remain on leave.
The FBI and other agencies have joined the ongoing investigation.
