NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released footage on Wednesday of two suspects they said violently threw a 61-year-old woman to the ground and snatched her purse in Queens.
The incident occurred around 7:25 a..m. on May 19 in front of 139-18 97th Avenue in the Jamaica section.
According to officials, one suspect approached the victim from behind, grabbed her purse, and threw her down to the street.
The suspect ran on 97th Avenue and jumped into a silver 4-door sedan that fled westbound on 97th Avenue, then northbound on Cresskill Place, police said.
Among the items inside the victim's purse were her cell phone and $20.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from NYC Health and Hospitals in Queens.
