NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Syracuse men’s basketball coach Jim Boeheim is cooperating with police after he allegedly struck and killed a man walking outside his vehicle on Interstate 690 in Syracuse Wednesday night.

Police say the man had been in a car with four others when their vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.

The man then go out of the vehicle, which is when Boeheim, driving past the scene, struck him, according to police. 

Syracuse Police Chief Kenton Buckner says more details will be provided Thursday.
