NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a thief who snatched the purse from a woman’s wheelchair as the woman was in the fitting room of a Queens clothing store.

The 32-year-old victim was in the Burlington Coat Factory on Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica on New Year’s Eve when the ruthless crook struck, police say.
