NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating a jewelry heist that occurred at a Bronx store after thieves stole over a million dollars worth of jewelry, according to a report from the New York Post.
The Fordham Gold Mine store located on East Fordham Road was targeted by four thieves before 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Sources told ABC-TV that the burglars entered through the roof at adjoining ABC Training Center.
The robbers managed to make a hole in the wall and enter the jewelry store through a closet.
At approximately 11 a.m., the store's owner discovered that $1.3 million in jewelry was missing from the store's safe and display cases, the report adds.
The four suspects are believed to be men and were last seen wearing masks.
