Thieves steal $17K worth of laptops from Bronx school: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A pair of thieves stole $17,000 worth of laptops from a school in the Bronx, the NYPD said. 

One of the thieves broke a side window at The Headstart School on Gerard Avenue in the Concourse section of the Bronx around 8:30 p.m. on June 13 while the other thief acted as a lookout, police said Thursday. 

After breaking the window, the thief went into the building and nabbed $17,000 worth of laptops from inside, the NYPD said. 

Surveillance video shows him leaving the school through a gate as his accomplice waits for him.
