Wine & Food Experience


The Wine & Food Experience series is an American culinary tour will make a stop in Brooklyn. No need to be a sommelier, your taste buds will get a kick of some of the best food, wine, beer and spirits from local and national chefs and mixologists. The event also features celebrity talent such as Alex Guarnaschelli, chef and Food Network star of shows like "Chopped" and "The Next Iron Chef", WWE's the Bella Twins and the one and only Martha Stewart. This is one event you don't want to miss.

Staten Island Greek Festival

Take the ferry and head out to the 46th Annual Staten Island Greek Festival. The festival has been bringing people of many cultures together since 1971 to celebrate a rich history of Hellenic culture with Greek food, music, dancing, raffles, and carnival rides and games.

RuPaul's DragCon

Experience three days of art, pop culture, and drag at DragCon NYC! You can purchase tickets for the entire weekend or just go t for a single day. Kids 10 and under are free when accompanied by an adult with a ticket. Don't miss out on some of the most entertaining and informative panels. Hear from your favorite queens and celebs on topics ranging from drag tips to art, culture, and political resistance. See performances from special guests, participate in contests, and more.

Coney Island Beard and Mustache Competition

The strangest and most extravagant beards and mustaches head to Coney Island where judges weed out the best whiskers in New York City and beyond. Competitors battle it out in categories like best mustache styled, best fake beard or mustache, and even worst in show. Winners get to take home the much coveted Coney Island Fez and other great prizes!

When: Saturday, September 8, Doors open at 6pm. Competition is at 8pm

Experience Thailand 2019

Head out for some fun, flavor and friends at the 2019 Experience Thailand event! A made-in-Thailand marketplace that is similar to the one you would find in Bangkok features Thai products and custom fragrances along with 14 of New York's best Thai restaurants! Enjoy a variety of flavorful Thai food or grab a refreshing fresh coconut juice while participating in any of the cultural activities and fun that the Royal Thai Consulate General of NY has prepared.

Washington Square Park Folk Festival

The ninth annual Folk festival is funded by local businesses and organizations and is free and open to the public. The festival features the best of local New York and sometimes national talent in the field of folk music - including old time string bands, Blues, jug bands, traditional Mexican and Balkan music, songwriters, New Orleans Jazz, Klezmer music and more! Have some fun dancing in one of New York's most iconic parks.

Smorgasburg NYC Outdoor Food Market 

Fill your belly at the largest weekly open-air food market in America. Choose from 100 local vendors—Saturdays on the Williamsburg waterfront and Sundays in beautiful Prospect Park. These small vendors from all over will satisfy any foodie with items like the ramen burger, mozzarella sticks and many, many more.

Jersey City Seafood Fest

The Jersey City Seafood Fest has everything from Lobster Rolls, to Oysters, to Crab Cakes and more! Featuring restaurants like Angry Archies, Quiafanas Kitchen and Crepe Suzette, even those that are not a fan of seafood there will have plenty of options to choose from. Live Music, Interactive Games, Full Bar, Kids Rides and More will make it a good time for all.

Pig Island NYC

It's the 10th Annual Pigtacular food fest on the Red Hook, Brooklyn Waterfront! More than 20 chefs will come together and compete for the most delicious pork dishes. There will also be craft beer, hard cider, spirits, and other food offered – all included with a general admissions ticket!  This year, they are proud to honor their founding mission by supporting small, sustainable farms with the best practices.

Friends NYC Pop-Up

For the 25th anniversary of the "Friends" show, fans of the can immerse themselves like never before. The pop up shop includes set re-creations, photo opps and of course, Central Perk!
