NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – President Trump, his son Donald Jr. and local Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez got into a Twitter fight Thursday night, as Trump called AOC a “Wack Job.”
The episode began when Trump retweeted his son, who had commented on a woman who spoke up at an Ocasio-Cortez town hall in Queens Thursday night.
A viral video captured the woman going off on a tirade about climate change.
“We only have a few months left!” she said, “A Swedish professor is saying you know, eat dead people but that’s not fast enough. So I think your next campaign slogan has to be this: We Got To Start Eating Babies.”
Trump Jr. retweeted the clip and added, “Seems like a normal AOC supporter to me.”
His dad then retweeted Donald Jr.’s message, adding, ““AOC is a Wack Job!”
AOC responded a short time later saying, ““better than being a criminal who betrays our country.”
