NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- President Trump took a break from watching -- and tweeting about -- the Democratic National Convention Thursday night to call into Sean Hannity's Fox News show to accuse Democrats of "trying to steal" the "fraudulent" election by supporting mail-in ballots.

"Now they're talking about sending 51 million ballots out, to anybody -- nobody knows whose going gonna get them, it's a horrible thing, it's a fraudulent election," Trump told Hannity, while Sen. Tammy Baldwin spoke at the DNC. "Everybody knows it. You don't even need to know politics to know it. 51 million ballots are going to be indiscriminately sent out to people who didn't even ask for it. People are going say, 'hey i just got a ballot.' It's a terrible thing. They're trying to steal the election."

A bit later, while Joe Biden was making his acceptance speech, Trump tweeted, "In 47 years, Joe did none of the things of which he now speaks. He will never change, just words!"

As former mayor Michael Bloomberg spoke, Trump tweeted, "After the worst debate performance in the history of politics, Michael Bloomberg, commonly known as Mini Mike, is trying to make a comeback by begging the Democrats for relevance. They treated him like a dog - and always will. Before politics, he said GREAT things about me!"

Trump then tweeted his approval ratings, writing, "96% Approval Rating in the Republican Party. 51% Approval Rating overall in the Rasmussen Poll. Thank you!"
