NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- President Trump on Wednesday said eating McDonald's french fries may be why he doesn't lose hair.
In response to an ABC Chicago story with the headline, "Study reveals chemical in McDonald's french fries may be cure for baldness," tweeted out by former press secretary to Geroge W. Bush Ari Fleischer in February 2018, Trump tweeted "No wonder I didn't lose my hair!"
It was unclear why Trump was responding to a tweet that is over two years old. But the pair appeared to have connected that day on Twitter, with Fleischer commending Trump on his debate performance.
The ABC Chicago story was about a study in Japan that found mice grew hair after ingesting a chemical in the fries.
Fleischer's own response to the story was "It doesn't work."
