NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The White House announced on Friday that President Trump's New Hampshire rally, scheduled for Saturday night, has been canceled due to Tropical Storm Fay, which is expected to slam the Northeast and New England this weekend.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany made the announcement aboard Air Force One, en route to Miami, according to the pool report.
McEnany said the rally -- which was to take place at an airport hangar at Portsmouth International Airport -- will instead take place in "a week or two."
On Friday morning, just hours before the announcement was made, Trump told a New Hampshire radio station, "We're going to have a big crowd and we're going to have a great crowd."
Also Friday morning, the Trump Victory Fund took to Twitter to promote the rally.
