NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The Trump campaign hasn't held a rally since March, when the pandemic took root, but that's about to change: Rallies will resume by the end of the month, Politico reported Monday.
According to the report, the president's team is still deciding where the rallies will take place, as well as what safety measures will be enacted. But the measure may depend on the type of venue selected.
While social distancing, wearing face masks and using hand sanitzer are among the top safety measures Americans have gotten used to, Trump has been unabashed about his disdain for face masks, rarely wearing one himself and mocking those who do.
Campaign manager Brad Parscale will present Trump various ideas this week, according to the report.
"Americans are ready to get back to action and so is President Trump. The great American comeback is real and the rallies will be tremendous," Parscale said in a statement. "You'll again see the kind of crowds and enthusiasm that sleepy Joe Biden can only dream of."
