NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey's own Twitter account, @jack, was hacked Friday afternoon, the company confirmed.
The account has more than 4.2 million followers.
A group that calls itself the Chuckle Gang hacked the accounts, and several offensive tweets were posted.
One tweet contained the n-word, and read, "F*** n******" Another tweet posted was a retweet of another account that read, nazi germany did nothing wrong." Another tweet read "Hitler is innocent."
"We're aware that @jack was compromised and investigating what happened," Twitter tweeted at 4:05 p.m.
Then at 5:22 p.m., Twitter tweeted, "The account is now secure, and there is no indication that Twitter's systems have been compromised."
