
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The United States’ COVID-19 death toll has surpassed 190,000, data released on Thursday shows.
At least 190,909 people in the U.S. have died of complications related to COVID-19, according to Johns Hopkins University’s coronavirus dashboard.
As of Thursday morning, the U.S. had reported a total of 6,365,595 COVID-19 cases — more than any other country has reported, the dashboard shows.
More than 27.9 million cases have been reported globally, and more than 904,600 people have died of COVID-19 worldwide, according to the dashboard.
