NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released disturbing video late Monday night of a man accused of shooting a bodega employee in the face during a robbery in Brooklyn.
On Jan.10, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officials say the armed suspect walked into a store located at 9702 Church Avenue in the Brownsville section.
The suspect demands money, police say and is captured pointing a gun at the employee.
Police say the suspect fired one shot at the victim, striking him above the right eyebrow.
The victim complied and relinquished an undetermined amount of cash in a plastic bag.
The attacker fled the scene eastbound on Church Avenue.
The victim suffered a laceration above his right eyebrow and was treated at Brookdale Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.Anyone with information is urged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477.
