NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is on the hunt for a suspect who on Wednesday robbed a 74-year-old man inside the elevator at the Grant Houses in Morningside Heights.
The entire robbery was caught on the elevator's surveillance camera.
According to a police news released, the suspect "simulated a weapon ... The male demanded the victim's property at which time a struggle ensued. The victim consequently fell to the floor and the male fled the location with the wallet containing $18. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene."
The suspect is described as a black man, who was last seen wearing glasses and dark clothing.
