RONKONKOMA, N.Y. (1010 WINS) – An antlered deer set off a frenzy at a Long Island hair salon on Saturday when it crashed through the parlor’s window.
Video from the Be.you.tiful Hair Salon in Ronkonkoma shows the wild animal smashing through the window and soaring over a couch before landing on the floor and racing around the salon.
A hair stylist and a man whose hair she was cutting scream as the glass shatters and the deer skids towards them, video shows.
“Oh my God!” the woman says.
The deer eventually bolted through the front door, disappearing before police arrived.
A woman sitting on the couch suffered injuries to her head and leg. She was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
