NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Massive plumes of black smoke were spotted rising from a fire at a junkyard in Jamaica, Queens, Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to Liberty Auto Parts at 150-19 Liberty Avenue around 3:30 p.m.
In a video obtained by Citizen App, the extent of the smoke could be seen.
Eyewitness Shaun Morash tweeted a photo of the blaze, which is near the LIRR station.
It was unknown was caused the blaze.
