NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A California Uber driver got the scare of his life Saturday night when his passenger grabbed the steering wheel while on a freeway.
The entire episode was captured on driver Dax Castro's dashcam. In the video, the passenger is seen grabbing the wheel. "You gotta let go, man," Castro tells the passenger.
In response, the passenger told Castro, "You gotta trust me, brother ... I love you, brother."Castro is then seen slowing the vehicle down while trying to keep the man away from the wheel.
According to Castro's Facebook post, the man was later arrested after registering a 0.19 blood alcohol content.
"I almost died!" Castro stated in the posting. "But obviously I'm thankful that I'm alive."
