White House reporters scramble after mouse drops from press room ceiling

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Reporters in the White House were caught by surprise Tuesday morning when a mouse dropped from the ceiling of the press room.

NBC News White House correspondent Peter Alexander tweeted that a “mouse literally fell out of the ceiling in our White House booth and landed on my lap.”

Several reporters tweeted photos of press members reacting to the rodent’s appearance.

The mouse on the run, CNBC correspondent Eamon Javers tweeted “Chase underway.”

There was no report of the mouse being caught.
