NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 52-year-old Brooklyn woman was attacked with an axe Monday afternoonm in Coney Island, police tell 1010 WINS.
The attacker was the woman's adult son, according to reports, and happened after the pair had an argument.
That son, and another adult son, are being questioned, a source told 1010 WINS.
Police confirmed they are questioning a person of interest.
The unidentified victim suffered a laceration to her head and was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island in critical, but stable, condition.
The attack happened around 3 p.m. at the O'Dwyer Gardens Houses. It was unclear if the attack happened inside or outside of the building.
