NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman at an Arizona zoo was attacked by a jaguar after she hopped over concrete barrier to take a selfie over the weekend.

The jaguar clawed through woman’s arm after she eclipsed a barrier to try to take a selfie in front of the jaguar enclosure.

Officials at Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park said the woman was received stitches at an area hospital but was not kept overnight.

The woman apologized on Monday for breaking the rules, said park officials.

The Zoo also tweeted that nothing would happen to the jaguar, as it was human error, rather than the jaguar’s that caused the incident.
