NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman claims that debris that fell from the subway tracks of an elevated subway track in Brooklyn shattered the sunroof of her SUV.

The owner of the vehicle, Yasmin Fitzpatrick said she was heading to work and stopped at the stoplight at the intersection when she heard something hit her vehicle.

"I'm waiting for the light to turn green and then a bang! The vehicle shook a little bit and I was startled and looked around at people because i'm thinking it was an earthquake." Fitzpatrick described the incident.

A deliveryman next to Fitzpatrick's vehicle saw the indicent and tapped on her window to see if she was OK.

"Oh my God! Oh no." Fitzpatrick exclaimed after she climbed out of the vehicle to see the what the damage was.

The sunroof was closed at the time that the debris hit her vehicle and Fitzpatrick was not injured.
