NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A female passenger on a southbound 2 train in Harlem was stabbed by another woman Tuesday night, police told 1010 WINS.
The incident occurred near 116th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard. The stabbing may have occurred after the pair argued.
One of the women was stabbed in her shoulder. She was taken to a hospital, but the injury is not serious, police said. The other woman is reportedly in custody.
The train was taken out of service and there were delays.
"Update: There are service changes and delays in 2 and 3 train service while we remove a train from service at 116 St," the MTA tweeted. "Southbound 2 trains are running on the 5 line from 149 St-Grand Concourse to Nevins St. Some northbound 3 trains will end at 96 St or 137 St-City College."
