NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Bill Joel postponed his 2025 tour for four months on Tuesday due to medical issues.

An announcement said the “Piano Man” singer needs time “to recover from recent surgery and to undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors.”

“Joel is expected to make a full recovery,” the statement said.

The concert series is set to resume in Pittsburgh on July 5.

Joel has been on a whirlwind tour since ending his decades-long residency at Madison Square Garden last year.

Joel, 75, kicked off the tour in February in Connecticut. It’s set to last until November, with shows at Yankee Stadium in July, and at MetLife Stadium and Citi Field in August.

No shows in the Tri-State area are impacted by the postponement. The nearest affected show is in Syracuse on April 10.
