NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Bob Saget, who is best known for his role as Danny Tanner on “Full House,” has died, Florida law enforcement officials said Sunday night. He was 65.

"Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene," the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Florida tweeted.

"Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case," police added.

The first celebrity to take to social media to express their sympathies was Jon Stewart, who tweeted, "Bob Saget… Just the funniest and nicest…"

Saget's "Full House" co-star John Stamos tweeted, "I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby."

In addition to “Full House,” Saget reprised his role for Netflix’s reboot “Fuller House,” which ran from 2016-2020.
