
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Bob Saget, who is best known for his role as Danny Tanner on “Full House,” has died, Florida law enforcement officials said Sunday night. He was 65.
"Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene," the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Florida tweeted.
"Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case," police added.
The first celebrity to take to social media to express their sympathies was Jon Stewart, who tweeted, "Bob Saget… Just the funniest and nicest…"
Saget's "Full House" co-star John Stamos tweeted, "I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby."
In addition to “Full House,” Saget reprised his role for Netflix’s reboot “Fuller House,” which ran from 2016-2020.

Norman Lear, who called Saget a close friend, wrote the comedian “was as lovely a human as he was funny. And to my mind, he was hilarious.”
Actor Richard Lewis tweeted, “In often a ruthless business he was historically not just hilarious but more importantly one of the kindest human beings I ever met in my career,” actor Richard Lewis wrote on Twitter.

TMZ reported that the Philadelphia native was currently on tour with a recent stop at Jacksonville's Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

Saget is also known for appearing in "Entourage," "Shameless," and serving as the narrator for "How I Met Your Mother" and host of "America's Funniest Home Videos."
He leaves behind a wife and three children.
