
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Lady Gaga will sing the National Anthem at President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
Gaga will perform the "The Star-Spangled Banner" in Washington as Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are sworn in, the Biden-Harris Inaugural Committee announced Thursday morning.
Also set to perform at the inauguration is Jennifer Lopez.
Firefighter Andrea Hall will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman will recite a poem. Father Leo O’Donovan will deliver an invocation and Reverend Dr. Silvester Beaman will give a benediction.
Tom Hanks will also host a 90-minute primetime TV special celebrating the inauguration of Biden, with performances by Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato and Ant Clemons.
The special will be broadcast live on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and MSNBC beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET on Jan. 20. It will also be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, Amazon Prime Video, Microsoft Bing, NewsNOW, DirectTV and U-verse.
According to producers, the show “will showcase the American people’s resilience, heroism, and unified commitment to coming together as a nation to heal and rebuild."
