Early data from Nielsen showed “SNL” pull similar numbers to where it ended season 46, which meant it was down 35% from the previous season’s debut.

Among adults 18-49, the Owen Wilson-hosted episode took a 53% drop from the Chris Rock-led season 46 opener, which came in the final weeks before the 2020 election.

The numbers are somewhat preliminary, with official ratings coming Tuesday.

The new episode featured brand-new cast member James Austin Johnson take over the role of President Biden. He’s joined by Aristotle Athari and Sarah Sherman, while Beck Bennett and Lauren Holt left the show.

The shows biggest names — Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon, Cecily Strong and Aidy Bryant — all remained on for this year despite rumors they’d leave.

“SNL” has three consecutive weeks of shows on tap, with Kim Kardashia West, Rami Malek and show alum Jason Sudeikis set to host.

The upcoming musical guests will be Halsey, Young Thug and Brandi Carlile.
