VIDEO: Rebel Wilson flips middle finger at Putin while hosting BAFTA Awards

LONDON (1010 WINS) -- Rebel Wilson didn't mince words about Vladimir Putin at Sunday night's BAFTA Awards in London.

In fact, her message was loud and clear, and not a word was spoken: instead, she relied on body language.

Wilson, who hosted the awards show at the Royal Albert Hall, was introducing "Coda" star Emilia Jones, when she sent a message to the Russian president about his invasion of Ukraine.

"Now, next up we have a very special performance inspired by the hit movie 'Coda.'" Wilson, 42, said. "That is such a beautiful movie. It's about a teen girl, played by Emilia Jones, coming of age in a deaf family."

"I just wanted to explain something," she continued. "In this performance, there are two different interpreters. One is signing ASL, which is American Sign Language, and one is signing BSL, which is British Sign Language."

Then came the zinger: "Luckily, though, in all sign languages, this is the gesture for Putin," Wilson said, flipping her middle finger, which was met by a roar of applause from the audience.
