NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Nick Cannon debuted a new tattoo on his show Friday in honor of his 5-month-old son Zen, who died Sunday from brain cancer.

The tattoo, which Cannon, 41, unveiled a photo of during his show's "Pic of the Day" segment, depicts Zen with angel wings and a halo.

Cannon, also the host of "The Masked Singer," said, "I've seen so much love 'yall, more love than I’ve probably ever experienced."

Showing off the ink in the photo, he said, "That’s actually my rib right there. Last night I got the opportunity to go get a tattoo of my son Zen as an angel on my rib."

Cannon said, pointing to his rib, "I'm still all bandaged up and it hurts right here right now.”

Cannon -- who had Zen with model Alyssa Scott -- said he arrived at the tattoo studio around 7:30 p.m. Thursday and stayed there until around 1 a.m.

"It was a lot of pain, but it was so well worth it,” he said “I enjoyed every moment of the experience to forever have my son right here on my rib, right here on my side as my angel.”
