NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- "The View" co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro tested positive for COVID-19 Friday morning -- finding out their results on-air -- and were ushered off the show's set, while vice president Kamala Harris sat backstage just moments away from her live in-person interview with the women.

Harris ended up doing the interview remotely elsewhere in the ABC building. A White House official said Harris “had no contact with the hosts prior to the show."

"At the last minute we realized that they tested positive for COVID so they have been taken off the show because the vice president is here now," Behar said on the show. "She is going to be on remote because they don't want to take any chances of her being on the set. It's very important we keep her healthy and safe ... They'll be OK, they're both vaccinated."
