NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A TMZ Celebrity Tour bus driver in Los Angeles was fired Saturday after tossing the n-word at someone, TMZ announced -- and now video has surfaced of the driver confirming that he indeed used the racist slur.
According to TMZ -- which leases the bus from Exclusive Livery Service, which employed the driver -- there was "some sort of altercation during the incident."
The TMZ tour was not in progress nor were there any passengers onboard at the time of the altercation, TMZ reported.
"We have been in contact with the owner of the bus company, who tells us the driver was swiftly fired for his intolerable conduct," TMZ said.
The LAPD was at the scene "taking a report," according to the Harvey Levin-run news outlet.
Radar Online reported that the incident took place at a gas station. The website also posted a video tweeted by the man purported to be the victim, recording the man who he claims use the language.
"Touch me. I'll f****** sue your ass," the driver said to the man filming.
"You called me a n****. Did he call me a n*****?" the man filming asked another man who was standing to the driver's left.
"Yeah, yeah," the driver repeatedly stated. "Yeah, I did!"
The man filming then panned over to someone standing farther away near a gas pump, asking if he had heard the driver call him the N-word, too.
"He called me a n*****, right?" the man filming asked, panning back to the driver, who continued to own his remarks: "Yeah. Yeah! I did!"
According to the TMZ Celebrity Tour website, "you'll see the locations TMZ has made famous over the last decade and watch some of the biggest stories in celebrity entertainment news come to life on our customized luxurious tour buses."
