Monique is a born storyteller with an acting and entertainment background, performing and working in film, TV, and theater.
She got her start in radio in New Hampshire--the first in the nation primary state where she covered two presidential primaries interviewing all of the candidates—winning Golden Mic awards for reporting, anchoring, and as a talk show host. She wrote and produced stories for Public News Service covering a wide range of issues and as a national assignment editor for animal welfare issues – her stories have been seen online and heard on radio stations across the country.
As a voice–over artist, Monique has voiced hundreds of national/regional spots, and promos, and has lent her voice to short films, historical walking tours, and the audio portions of art installations at MoMA including the Matisse and Georgia O’Keeffe exhibits. Monique is also a live “Voice of God” announcer at venues around Manhattan.
Driving to work in the wee hours of the night up in NH she could pick up WINS in NYC on the car radio and dreamed about one day working at the station. She started anchoring at WINS in 2017 and it has truly been a dream come true.
