NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released video footage Tuesday as they look to identify individuals wanted in connection with a pair of hate crime vandalism incidents targeting Queens synagogues.
In the first incident at approximately 11:44 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, two suspects approached the rear of Young Israel of Jamaica Estates at 83-10 188th St. and damaged property by hurling bags containing motor oil before fleeing on foot to a dark-colored suburban vehicle.
According to police, a second related incident occurred the same night between 11 p.m. and 6:20 a.m., targeting Young Israel of Holliswood located at 86-25 Francis Lewis Blvd. damaging property by throwing bags filled with motor oil.
The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is actively investigating both incidents.
