NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A magnitude 2.4 earthquake hit southern New Jersey on Wednesday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake struck south of Tuckerton in Ocean County shortly before 8 a.m.
The tremor was at a depth of about three miles, officials said.
More than 30 people reported feeling the quake by 9:15 a.m., according to the Geological Survey.
"I didn't notice, but they felt it on the third floor of our house," one Twitter user wrote.
No serious injuries or damage were immediately reported.
