PORT REPUBLIC, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Authorities discovered a body that matches the description of a missing 84-year-old man in New Jersey, officials said Monday.
According to police, Alan Levin, a retired teacher in the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District was reported missing Saturday night.
Although the body matches Levin's description, officials have yet to make a positive identification as of Monday morning.
The body was found near a bridge on the bank of Nacote Creek in Atlantic County.
Levin's Honda CRV was discovered on Sunday near the Port Republic Bridge.
Levin was last seen at about 6 a.m. on Saturday when he left his Smithville home. His disappearance also remains under investigation.
