NORWALK, Conn. (1010 WINS) — At least one shooter opened fire on a Connecticut street over the weekend, sending a bullet through a window that struck and killed someone’s pet cat, police said.
Residents of West Main Street in Norwalk reported hearing several gunshots outside their homes around 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, Norwalk police said on Facebook.
A bullet from one of the shots pierced a window of a home on the street, striking and killing a cat, the department said.
Not long after the shots were fired, residents heard a vehicle’s tires screeching as it drove off, police said.
