TEANECK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A giant tree limb landed on two women and a Tesla Thursday morning in Bergen County, authorities said.

The freak incident in Teaneck around 8 a.m. left two women injured and the Tesla partially crushed, with its passengers trapped inside.

The monstrous limb came down at Sussex Road and Churchill Road, just as the women and the Tesla driver were passing by.

Officials described the women's injuries as serious but non-life-threatening.

A driver and a passenger in the Tesla—a father and daughter—were trapped in the vehicle but not injured.

A tree service crew was in the area and helped remove the pair from the Tesla, which had its windshield crushed by the limb.
