
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Comedy icon Mel Brooks on Tuesday endorsed Joe Biden for president, saying that President Trump is “not doing a damn thing” about the coronavirus pandemic.
"My father, @MelBrooks, is 94. He has never made a political video. Until now,” Brooks’s son, Max Brooks wrote on Twitter, along with a video of his father.
In the video, Brooks sitting at a table holding a "cup of Joe'" mug, while his son and grandson stand outside of a glass window.
"They can’t be with me. Why? Because of this coronavirus," Brooks said. "And Donald Trump’s not doing a damn thing about it."
Brooks then goes on to endorses Biden, while his son and grandson hold up Biden-Harris campaign signs that reads "Joe likes facts."
“Why do I like Joe? Because Joe likes facts. Because Joe likes science. Joe will keep us going. Take a tip from me, vote for Joe," Brooks continues in the video.
