HARTFORD, CT (1010 WINS) -- Connecticut reported 11 new COVID-19-related deaths and a 6.37 percent infection rate on Friday, Gov. Ned Lamont said.
Of the 43,078 COVID-19 test results that came back in the state on Thursday, 2,746, or 6.37 percent, were positive, he said.
The 11 new fatalities pushed Connecticut's death toll to 4,737, health department data shows.
As of Thursday evening, 659 people in the state were hospitalized with the virus, up by 42 from Wednesday, Lamont said.
