NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in connection with the murder of a Long Island teenager two years ago.
Officers responding to a 911 call around 12:40 a.m. on Sept. 1, 2019 found Jaifield Gordon, 18, shot inside a BMW that had crashed into a parked vehicle and fence in front of a home on Beach Lane in Coram, Suffolk County police said Wednesday.
Gordon was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is now offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person or people who shot Gordon, the police department said.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.
