DANBURY, Conn. (1010 WINS) -- A man and woman were found dead following an apparent murder-suicide in Connecticut earlier this week, authorities said.
According to officials, 29-year-old Dheraldy Caldeira killed a 21-year-old woman and himself using a large kitchen knife inside an apartment on Griffing Avenue in Danbury.
Just after 7:30 a.m. on Monday, officers were en route to the apartment for a crisis intervention when they were updated that the incident involved a possible suicide,
Their bodies were found along with a toddler who appeared unharmed, according to Danbury Police Department.
The child was transported to Danbury Hospital to be evaluated.
The woman, who has not been identified, was in a domestic relationship with Caldeira, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
